MY REVIEW: Pussycat Dolls feat. Ne-yo and Lady Gaga: 27th January@LONDON O2
FIVE WORDS: BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!
So the big day arrived..27th Jan...Pussycat Dolls/Ne-yo/Lady Gaga @ London 02!..for two months I had been impatiently waiting for this night and it finally came!..and boy what a night it was!
Our seats were at the front block on the fourth row so we were quite close indeed!
So we were waiting impatiently for Lady Gaga to come on...the announcer person called the arena to say she was coming on in five mins but they just over exaggerated cause it took more than five mins lol. Then the lights dimmed and a small clip intro of Lady Gaga was playing..and then suddenly she appeared with her dancers and performed one of her songs of ‘The Fame’ album. She then performed other tracks of her album and ended with the huge hit ‘Just Dance’. Her performance was crazy lol she really lives up to her stage name! I found it funny when she kept saying...’My Name is Lady Gaga’...in such a serious way like four timesanyway she really did a good performance and got the crowd warmed up.
After Lady Gaga was of course, Ne-yo! Now I wasn’t exactly that excited seeing him (even though I’m a big fan of his music!) as I was too excited seeing PCD hehe! But he really amazed me with his charm, vocal and performance skills. He really interacted with the crowd (he pointed at me like twice lol) and got most of the crowd singing to the songs. He’s also surprisingly hot lol...his looks didn’t exactly appeal to me before but after singing him live...damnnnn haha
ANYWAY NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART OF THE NIGHT...THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS =D...so after the amazing performances from Ne-yo and Lady Gaga, we now had to wait for the stars of the night.
After a few mins of setting up the stage for PCD the lights went dim again and the audio clips of their songs played...at this moment I was freaking out...then the tour introduction clip of them on motorbikes came on...I was freaking out even more this time!..Then suddenly ‘Take Over The World’ intro was playing and....THERE THEY WERE...ON THEIR MOTORBIKES...at this moment I was screaming and jumping up and down like crazy ! I was expecting to cry but I didn’t for some reason...I think I just got too excited and forgot to get overwhelmed that I was actually seeing my idols performing before my very eyes lol they’re all beautiful and sexy real life living dolls! What u see on TV is exactly what they look like except they’re even hotter!
Anyway every performance was perfect and they each gave 100% effort to everything!
GOOD POINTS:
They all interacted well with the crowd (Jess and Kim in particular was always waving and blowing kisses my way lol
Don’t Cha (with a mix of ‘U gotta show me love’) performance – really got the crowd going for obvious reasons! The mix with ‘U gotta show me love’ made the performance even better...melody nailed it when singing a bit of that song!
Male dancers – thank god for them lol they added pure hotness with their slick moves and great bond with the dolls. I wasn’t complaining when their tops were off...haha Ashley’s bf Kenny was cuuute!
Melody – really surprised me, I knew she had an amazing voice but she’s even better in real life! I could tell she’s really passionate with her singing cause she did an amazing job! She also funny, she cracked a few jokes now and then lol
Ashley – very strong performer, her dance moves were spot on and really gave it her all especially on her solo!
Kimberly – wow, she really is flexy doll lol! I loved her solo performance...damn that girl and her leg...I wish I was as flexible as her
Nicole – although she’s my least favourite, I have to honestly say she’s amazing! To all u haters saying she can’t sing live...your wrong! She held every note perfect and nailed each performance. She’s actually not that tall as I expected for some reason though lol
Jessica - *sighs* yes she is my favourite lol I nearly fell down when she pointed/waved at me! I’m not sure if she pointed or waved at me but she was definitely looking at me and doing either one haha. As expected...she was absolutely GORGEOUS! She really interacted with the crowd and was always smiling...THAT SMILE omg lol she impressed me with her solo and nailed them high notes towards the end of her solo. She’s a great dancer too! Not to mention how beautiful she is! Haha I know already mentioned it but she blew me away! lol
BAD POINTS:
Funny how at least one or two people ruin a great night out...and what do u know it happened to me! These two people bugged me big time...they were constantly in and out of the arena buying beer...and what do u know happened...they ACCIDENTLY dropped their drink over my BOOTS and kinda soaked my merchandise that I bought! Not only that they kept giving me sarcastic comments which to them thought was funny...they kept saying things like ‘they not gonna hear u sing, woah calm down with screaming haha’ etc...blah blah blah.OMG I could have punched their butters faces in but cause I didn’t wanna be thrown out the arena I managed to keep my cool and let the rest of the night go without them trying to ruin my night! Sorry for that little rant but I had to get it out
I dunno if it was just me but from where I was at, I felt the crowd wasn’t as responsive or live as I expected for people who bought seats for front rows!!! I swear me and my sister were the only ones that knew the words to every song! I kept looking around for anyone else my side going crazy or singing but most of them were either SITTING DOWN or just standing there...goodness sake! What a waste of money for them getting front row tickets if they don’t even know their songs or not that excited lol I know that’s harsh but whatever it didn’t really bother me as I was in my own world most of the time from screaming and singing out loud haha
Anyway aside from all that...it was honestly the best night I had! Three great artists in one room...PCD, Ne-yo and Lady Gaga...I couldn’t ask for more! But obviously it was all about the Pussycat Dolls! I would definitely recommend everyone to see these gorgeous girls live cause they are absolutely amazing! I would also recommend to book front row tickets if u want to really interact with them...you won’t regret it!
