The Pussycat Dolls released their debut album, 'PCD', towards the end of 2005 (September in the USA, November in Europe). Since its release the album has peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200 album chart and at number seven on the UK Top 75 album chart.

In Mid-2006 the album re-entered both the US and UK Top 10 albums chart thanks to the popularuty of the 4th single 'Button's featuring Snoop Dogg. The album has gone on to sell 1.7 million copies in the US and is approaching 4 million worldwide. In Australia, the album reached the top 10 in the ARIA albums chart for the first time on 30 July, 2006, after being in the top 50 for 35 weeks. Seven singles where released off the album, 'Sway', 'Don't Cha', 'Stickwitu', 'Beep', 'Buttons', 'I Don't Need A Man' and 'Wait A Minute'.

The album has sold over 6million copies worldwide with over 1million in the UK alone. A PCD 'Tour Edition' was released with an additional bonus CD containing remixes of songs and ringtones for mobile phones.
