Jessica Sutta (born 15 May 1982) is from Miami, Florida.
The baby girl of the family, Jessica started dancing at age 3 and hasn't stopped since. Her audition for the Dolls came with a graceful save; when her hairpiece fell out, she kept going with a smile and of course, she got the job. Her love for Robin's choreography makes the job her perfect match.
In 2002 Sutta moved to Los Angeles, and as a freelance dancer appeared in music videos for Will Smith, Beyoncé ("Crazy in Love"), Baby Bash, Craig David and Gloria Estefan, among others. She came to the attention of choreographer Robin Antin who cast her in the re-vamped Pussycat Dolls in 2002. As with all the other Dolls, Sutta is a salaried employee of Interscope Records.
Jessica says "When I first saw the Pussycat Dolls perform, I was so taken by the concept. I mean, they were just girls being girls. And honestly, what's better than being a girl?" She also had some problems in her audition. She says "I decided to wear a hairpiece that would make my hair look fuller. I didn't know I had to put more than two pins in it and well...by my first head spin, my hair was flying across the room!"
In 2007, she appeared on an episode of the game show Identity.
Sutta is featured on a track that reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Singles Sales, called "White Lies", which also has a video, from Paul Van Dyk's album, In Between, released in August 2007. "White Lies" is the first single from this album and was released in July 2007.
